Thing 3
There are many ways I could use blogs in my future as an educator. First, I could use them to communicate with different types of people from all over the world to gain knowledge and ideas for use in the classroom. Second, is to learn all about the different technologies to make learning easier and more fun for my future students. Lastly, I would like to teach the students on how to use blogs to their advantage on learning and finding new information. Any extra help given to students is always good for the students and the educator! All of these would help advance and help the students in their learning experience.

I think you have a lot of great ideas. Communicating is a skill everyone needs to have especially teachers keeping their student engaged in learning. I took an online class at Phoenix University and it was one of the best things I had done. I could not wait to get up and get on my computer. I wanted to see all the new post and especially the commits. I was very active in the class. I believe for me if I had this sort of technology in my classroom I would not be able to type fast enough to keep up with all the participation. Remember in a traditional classroom you might get 1 or 2 hands up. Chatting and blogging will make it so much easier for all the shy student to join in the class conversation, I know from my personal experience it was for me.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about using a blog to communicate with people from all over the world to get ideas for the classroom, though it is pretty obvious to me now. Lol. I think that is a excellent idea and a very good way to better yourself as a teacher.
